Default Best console for Dinosaur related games is...?

Hi,

My opinion:

1. Sega Dreamcast seemed cool, it is a pity that they lost to Sony's marketing techniques. Will Sega release a new console or stick to making games for others? I upgraded from Mega Drive/Genesis to Saturn until it lost to PS. Then was considering a Dreamcast, but it also disappeared from the market. I still remember the Saturn demo cd, with a game called Clockwork Knight I think? And Bug!. What a game!

I heard in addition, that Saturn/Dreamcast were technically superior but harder to develop games for than the PS1 and PS2 respectively.
I would like to buy the console with the best JP or dino related games.

2. Rumor has it that the recent edition of PS2s (the second/ thinner one) has technical issues. Also that initially, XBOXs used to crash like PCs, (had a M$ Windows 2000 operating system built in, to make it easier for game developers).

3. SNES was cool, but I preferred Sonic to Mario. So never played JP for the SNES, but it sounds like (from what I heard that it was Zelda style)the JP for SNES should be for the Mega Drive due to its style.
