problem with dvd recorder and computer rw

Hey got a problem

When i record something on the DVD RECORDER of the tv it will not play on my Comp , When i insert the disk nothing loads then i try to go to my computer and clicking the cd logo again nothing says enter disk .

Then when i record somthing of the net like a music video on to a dvd on my computer it again wont play on my computer

or dvd recorder

ant one any idea why .

ps when i record a video on to a cd disk it will play on the comp opens up as a windows media video .

any one help ?

iv tried windows media player to record on to dvds . record now and DivX
