Gmail Alerts

Ok, i dont know if its just me or my account, but its really annoying now.... I've set up google alerts for "TECHNOLOGY" and "COMPUTER", this gets me all the latest infor and news in both categories, nice!!! i used to get one alert from each every day, which was fine, i liked it that way, now i get one every like 20 mins, i get home and it says like Google Alerts : Computer (65).... 65 messages, but they are all different, is this just google being ultra efficient or is it a problem, cos its pissing me of big time.
