Default online file storage?

what is the best way to make larger files (up to 10 Megabytes) accessible to friends online (without your own webpage)? Yahoo's briefcase is only public shareable if you have a commercial account. I'm looking for something free if possible.

rapidshare.de hosts files for nothing. Its just a pain in the neck to remember the URL to said file.
