Exclamation my £ sign disappeared on the internet

can someone help me with this, i dont know what happened, it just started a few days ago, i visit a website and what i see is a J instead of a £

can you type the pound (£) sign in to a word document?
Could be that the (£) font has gone missing from your registry settings

I can use the sign, but when i go into ebay or something with prices on, the £ turns into a J

what about other websites? mebbe it is ur browser font... have you recently changed it?

it happens in almost every site, listen i dont think i did changed the font of my brownser, i checked the internet options/fonts and it looks fine, very strange. Any thing i can do ? Is it a virus or something(my pc seems fine)

i had this problem a year or two ago, and cant recall the solution
try reinstalling ie, read
