Default I know this is the wrong section butt

I havnt gotten a responce in the other section of the forum.. so I was wondering if someone could tell me what they use for virus protection, I have norton but it bogges my stuff down to much.. how about AVG free?

i use norton and have used Mcafee in teh past. i will never use Mcafee again. Norton all the way for me.

ah, I recommend AVG too, I put that on my mom's virus ridden computer and she hasn't had another bad one since, plus it's free and doesn't have a ridiculous amount of upgrades running constantly

AVG free FTW! you cant beat it, i would say it is just about as good as norton, mccafee etc.. but it doesnt come with all the extra crap you never use

sooo AVG will do just as good as my norton? I mean I never have viruses anyway.. but as logn as im just as safe..

or more so considering sometimes all that "free" upgrading and updating Norton does sometimes could potentially open you up for other stuff
