Default Windows xp- automatic log-off settings?

Where can I find the settings to tell the computer to ask for the user's password after the pc has been inactive for so many minutes?

I don't want it to actually log-off and close programs though. I want the programs to remain open, I just want to lock the users profile until the password is re-entered. I think I've seen the settings somewhere before but I can't find them right now.

Thanks,
Sven
