Default Help me

Hello

My computer has just returned from service, and when i turn it on, the following message are on the screen:

``Keyboard error or no keyboard present``

I know what this means, but my keyboard are new, an i am sure it works....But when i push DEL or F11, nothing happens....I am going to try with a new keyboard, but does anyone have tip for me?

what kinda keyboard do u have? i got a saitek that did that but when i installed the drivers it worked fine.

Yep, it's most probably the drivers for your keyboard. Search google for the drivers of your keyboard.

if hes getting that error message before windows loads (aka POST), then drivers wont do anything.

Your Mouse and Keyboard are not pluged in backward are they!

that would be my guess, driver are never the issue at this stage in the boot

easy ps2 connector look the same and the mouse and keyboard are right next to each other (your probably thinking only about usb keyboards )

Just because a keyboard's new does not guarantee it works. It could be DOA.
