BKSinAZ Bronze Member Join Date: Oct 2005 Posts: 84	Do I have to use 'DELL' memory chips in my Dell? I need to buy some ram. Do I have to buy the expensive DELL brand sdram from Dell or can I go to my local BESTBUY and buy it for half the price? If I can buy from best buy, does the speed of the memory chip that I am taking out of the notebook have to be the same as I am putting in? The bad ram chip is a PC2700. Will my computer ONLY work with PC2700?
