Really Need Help!!!!

Hi, I just did System Restore on my computer, now it looks lie when I just bought it brand new, well everything was fine wen i was changing my my wallpaper and such when the screen turns red and then the computer shuts down, i start it up again and the sam thing happens, it shuts of by itself. Please help me!!!!

You might want to findout what graphics card you have and install the necessary drivers !

i don't have a graphics card and i don't know where or how to DL the right drivers

From the fact you said you're not using a graphics card, im assuming you're using onboard graphics, yes? If so, can youi tell us which motherboard or make/model of computer and we'll direct you to the drivers.

and also, i can play solitare and stuff but only for a minute then it blanks out and shutsdown

Well first, http://drivers.soft32.com/driver/dow...ics-23777.html is the drivers. Secondly, im not sure, i wouldnt of thought so, but it eliminates it.

Hmmm, when you said it turned red, do you mean the screen went red, or red tint? And when you turn the computer on, does it go red then shutdown, or just shutdown? And at what point does it shutdown?

well it shows the welcome screen and the desktop for a minute(the reason why it turns red i guess bacuase of the wallpaper, but the wallpaper has designs and such and saids compaq on it, but when it begins to shutdown by itslef, it turns blank, then black screen then shutsdown) then shuts down

Try changing the wallpaper if it gives you enough time. Change it to a plain colour.
