Default want to put xp on my office 2000 laptop

hey guys i want to put xp on my windows office 2000 laptop can i just put the sofware on or do i have to first remove office if someone can get back to me i would greatly appricate it. thank you

What version of windows do you have now? Most likely you can just do an upgrade, which will keep all your files on your computer.

het thanks for the reply i have windows office 2000 professional on it at the moment and want to put on xp home edition do ya think i can just put it on?

There's a Microsoft Office 2000 (office suite- software) and a Windows 2000 (operating system), I take it that it's a Windows 2000 system. You can upgrade it to WinXP, but XP will be a lot slower than Windows 2000. You can still keep Windows 2000, Microsoft still supports it and it's the most used operating system in the world.
