A friend of mine wants to sell me his P4 2.4 512/400 Northwood CPU for $40.00, do you think it worth the money with it being a older slower P4, I myself perfer AMD.
Thanks

i'd say that worth it, if you can make a use for it. They retail around $100, and the northwoods were always good overclockers (i have a 3.0 ghz northwood in my desktop)

id say get it if you need a pc for internet usage or something... and if you've already got extra parts if you can throw in a new pc. if not, then don't bother.
