Default a bootable disk using assembly

well i have to do this somehow but i'm new to assembly and i really dont know what to look for how it's gonna be done.... any one have any idea what i should do ...
and this is on x86

i googled a little bit and i found alot of stuff but i feel it's too much for what i wanna do
so any help will be appreciated
