Default coping files from floppy disc

Can someone tell me? how i copy files from my floppy disc onto my hardrive?Step by step if possible? as i am not to good on computers

insert floppy disc
double click my computers
double click "A" drive
highlight the files you want to copy
left click and drag them onto your desktop

Hi wot it is. i tried to print some pictures from digital camera but the screen freezes and it says( fax viewer is not responding) so i have to turn the computer off at the mains so someone said copy files from you floppy onto your hardrive but i cant do it.and i cant find my computers.Where do i look for this? thanks maggs

As long as you are running a windows operating system:

right click on the START menu and go to 'explore'

if you are unable to RIGHT click and find explore, LEFT click on the start menu and go to 'run...' type in a:\
