Arrow First Person Flight

In Medal Of Honor Pacific Assault there is a level of flying an airplane, does anyone know of a good combat flight game that doesn't use a joystick or that requires the skill of a real pilot. I fly small airplanes, and I sware that it is easier to fly a real plane than to play Microsoft's Flight Simulator.

i always like combat flight simulator 3... the difficulty is very scalable so it shouldn't be a problem

Haha, yeah im doing my PPL (slowly, expensive in the UK), and I'd agree. Apparently in strict situations FS2004 can be used to log hours.

Does it require a joystick?

no, you can play with a keyboard or a control pad if you want to but obviously these aren't the ideal methods if you're gonna be purist about it

I enjoyed Crimson Skies, but isn't it for the XBOX? I don't own it but I've played it before at a friend's place

No game should require a joystick to play, but you will know from flying that there are subtleties that would be hard to get just using a keyboard alone. That's usually just reserved for trim, flaps, etc.
