my mobo's onboard audio is having issues...sound only comes out on the left side... any ideas? (ik the headphones and speakers i used worked and i made sure thatthe plug wus in all the way)

1. Check the output balance in Playback Properties:
Control Panel -> Sound and Audio Devices -> Advanced button. Make sure all your balance sliders are centered. 2. You just might have a broken connection at the jack where the plug goes in. Having fixed stereo gear with broken or dirty connections tells me this can happen, especially with plugs and jacks that get used a lot. 3. Have you tried any other speakers and headphones to make sure it's not the ones you normally use? 4. Have you uninstalled and reinstalled the drivers? Tom
