genuine copy of Windows XP
hi guys,
how do you know if you have a legal genuine copy of windows xp do you go START, ACCESSORIES, SYSTEM TOOLS and ACTIVATE WINDOWS and if it says "windows is already activated" does that mean its a legal genuine copy. Does your computer case have a genuine sticker from microsoft witht the XP code on it?

you have the CD right? If it's burnt you'll know it. If you buy a computer it comes with the OS... Look at the cd.

You can still download service packs with both an original retail disk and a copied illegal disk.
