And 7600GT has pixel shader 3.0 support wjile X850XT doesn´t..
7600GT will presevre its power in games much more longer than x850XT cause all the games now/near future are going to have PS 3.0 and also run smoother and better looking with 7600GT...

the 7600 is probably on par or darn close to the x850xt. you can compare the stats all day long: in the end, the 7600gt is going to be quieter, run cooler, and have some* newer features that will help you enjoy newer games and games to be released. plus you can get another at some point and sli them
here's a good comparison http://www.bit-tech.net/hardware/200...1800gto/5.html

X850XT: 16 pp 520 core 1080 memory 6 vertex X1800GTO 12pp 500 core 1000 memory 8 vertex http://www.gpureview.com/show_cards....1=55&card2=386 Look at the: Memory Bandwidth Shader Operations Pixel Fill Rate Texture Fill Rate Vertex Operations X850XT owns the X1800GTO on everything except vertex operations, and the X1800GTO doesn't win then by much.

yaa i think i might go for the 7600gt, THX FOR ALL DA HELP, but also is the SLI gonna matter, as in will it not preform as well as its made for SLI or will it be just as good, and wuts with the two DVI ports, will it work with a plain ole CRT monitor or will i need a converter?

My advice: Don´t go with SLI cause it just robbs your money.
The performance difference is almost only in high resolution gaming... So just sell your 7600GT and buy a new SINGLE card in a coulpe of years...
