ok i have abit of knowledge on computer systems and programs. but what i need to know i haven't got a clue about.
i have the Hirens Bootcd 7.9 which works fine for me. i am currently creating a bootcd of my own but would like to use the same type of layout that the hirens boot cd looks like in dos. if i use the exe file i would need to edit txt in it, like changing Hiren's Bootcd 7.9 to Ricky's Bootcd 2006. also would need to change the txt links for the software hiren uses aswel. is there any simple way of just changing the txt on the boot disc. any help would be great |

no, no there isnt. There qould be if you had the code source files for the original bootcd, but obviously you dont, only the author will, unless he released em...?? I am not aware of any way to "de-compile" a .exe file at current, correct me if im mwrong, its basically impossible.
