Default Do I need to install the motherboard's driver?

Do I need to install the motherboard's driver?

Reformating and reinstalling XP Pro.
Do I need to install the motherboard's chipset drivers or will everything be on the XP cd? It is an older MB and I cant locate driver cd.

it would be best to install the drivers, but xp ought to at least install and run without them. Once Windows is up and running, look for the drivers on the manufacturer's website
