laptop to projector

Hi all,

i have this particularly weird problem where this computer after setting up to external monitor can only show the wallpaper on the projector. it is fine on the laptop. restarting does not help. this computer does not have a driver control center EG: catalyst control etc. how can i solve this issue?

Well your LCD resolution is probably high and you need to lower it in order to project it through the projector. If you look at your projectors manual, it should tell you how to do this or a program that comes with it will do it for you.
