Printer Problem
i have desktop computer that i want to share it to a network printer but its responding that the printer driver cant be installed because the file is already exist.
if any one knows what can i do to be able to share this printer this would be appreciated. |

It sounds like the printer may already be installed, if your are trying to connect to a printer that is shared on another computer on your network sometimes windows xp automatically recognizes it and installs it for you

If the printer is already installed on the 'server' computer, type the computer's name into explorer or run. Assuming you've already told the printer to be shared on the server, you should see it amung other shared folders. Right click on the printer and connect. You should get something like "are you sure this server or reliable/safe" Of course, accept that and it should connect...
