I wanted to ask about CompTIA A+ Certification.
Is it good? I mean is it useful for the amount of studying required? and how recognized and up to date is it? If not, what would you suggest is a good similar certification? Also, I've been finding many different opinions on A+ Complete Study Guide by Sybex. Do you think the book is enough to prepare for the exam? If not, what would you suggest? Thanks! (advice would be very much appreciated!) |

Its pretty much the standard. Its usefull if you want to get a job in anything computer related, obviously. As to how much studying it depends on how much you already know. Here are some sample tests: http://www.comptia.org/certification...questions.aspx
For the record, I got almost none of them right
