Lightbulb Which Speaker System.

Hi there new to the forum, just to let you know really into the music side of computers, currently running sound blaster audigy 2 platinum, connected to a separate amp which power a pair of gale monitor speaker, this is giving me great sound.

However it is very untidy and having to flick 4-5 switches before any sound starts emerging, therefore im interested in a very good 2.1 system but having no experience with computer speakers I am wondering if the sound is goin to match that of my monitor/amp combo. looking to spend upto £250. it is only a small room, so power ratings arent crutial used for playing mostly rock.

Thanks for any help
Sam

Forget the computer speakers...

If you enjoy music look for some real speakers..

I have an Infinity Primus speaker system.. and I LOVE music.. and this system rules!

(Dont need to spend a lot either... there are some great less-expensive systems as well)

Logitech has some nice 2.1 systems that are quite affordable (same goes for some of their 5.1 setups)
