Hi, i have a dell dimension 3100 running on windows xp home. you know that normally when you open a folder you get that little dropdown arrow near the top of the screen with the other toolbars to browse through you folders easilly, well i did on my old pc anyway, on this pc i dont seem to have one. i bought the computer recently from the dell website and went there looking for support but i couldnt find any to help me. ive tried going through to "View" "toolbars" but there isnt one there that shows the dropdown list. please help

You should be looking for the words: "Address Bar"

Are you going through My Computer or Windows Explorer? Try right clicking on start and pick Explore and see if its any different.
