Default which wireless notebook card?

Ok, I didnt have time to get a dell because it wouldnt be shipped in time before I leave town so I decided to pick one up at the local best buy, I was looking at this toshiba. Does this look like a good deal for someone just looking to do regular web surfing, emailing and stuff. mostly need the comp for map programs.

I am going to get wireless internet from tmobile and was wondering which card would be the best and which works with that notebook. the guy at tmobile wanted to sell me a sony ericsson gc89 for $150, is that a better card than any of these below? I would like great connection and being a truck driver I will need it to be a good card for all over the country.

Thanks for the help.

Those cards wont work with your tmobile service. I'd just get it from Tmobile and you can just whip your laptop out at the store and have them set it up (or just do it yourself) to make sure it works before you leave.

It should work with any laptop with a PC card slot and that Toshiba's got it (Type II).

ok, cool.

Im gonna go pick it up and then head over to the tmobile store to set up a phone and internet accound and get everything together before i hit the open road.

also can I put a tv tuner in the computer? it would be better than having a big tv in the rig.

thanks again

You can have an external TV tuner. It isn't great quality, but not bad. I would recommend ATI's external TV tuner.
