Default Strange problem with Logitech G5

Howdy all,

Recently ive noticed that if my G5 is shaken, or moved quickly from side to side, the DPI display will go off and reset to the medium setting (I usually have it on high)

Its really annoying, sometimes it doesnt come back on, but if I unplug it from the USB then put it back in again, it works.

Any ideas?

Just to add (And bump ), when i scroll down, that can really screw it up, and again, I have to unplug it.

Ive got all the latest firmware etc, could it be a faulty mouse? It worked perfect untill about 3 days ago

I dont have one so im not really sure if im right, but cound the sensitivity be controlled by weight, or some sort of mechanical device? Because that would answer the question of why it resets when you shake it.

No, the sensitvity si controlled by two buttons at the top. Theres a removeable weight cartridge for thw weight, and loads of little weights are included to cutomise it to your own needs.

Anyway, I phoned logitech, they told me to RMA it to where I bought it, so its packed up and ready to be sent away.

Never know, they might send me a G7
