Default computer or laptop

i am looking to buy a laptop.. but i have to sell my computer in turn wich i dont mind.. i am just wondering how much i should get for my computer..

i have windows xp
256 mb ddr pc333 ram
agp video card
2 usb slots in front 4 in rear
costum built
dvd player
cd burner-sperate from dvd
2 more available cd-dvd drives
4 pci slots
modem
wireless pci card
mouse
keyboard
mousepad
17 in ctr monitor

That is extremely vague.

We would need to know thee of Processor type and speed, the type of video card, and what you have for a hard drive.

where do you live? in the UK depending on the video card, CPU and hard drive size you have I would think £100-200.

Have a look on Ebay for similar systems and see what they go for

Sounds like a dinosaur to me. AGP and PCI are mostly a thing of the past. 17"CRT monitor are given away these days. Good luck though!! Keep this in mind. Dell sells brand new desktop computers starting at $299 with a monitor. I am thinking you could get a couple hundred out of it if you were lucky.

Take a look at the 'How do I find out this information' section of Questions 101. We don't have enough information about your system to give you a ballpark figure.
