Hey!
I am about to buy more memory for a Packard Bell i xtreme desktop, as it only has 256Mb just now. On their site they sell PC2700, 512Mb stick for £43, but I can get a " OcUK Value 512MB PC3200 184pin DDR Memory " for £27! My question is, will it be ok to use this cheaper memory?, also, since its now got 265Mb, another identical 256Mb stick would make it run "dual" but I think that 512mb wont be enough- -and the MoBo only has 2 memory slots, so best to get as much ram as can fit. PS. will the Packard bell memory defo be 184pin?, just incase they make any stupid new standards like dell do with their PSU's etc lol. Cheers!,

yeah, you should be able to use the OcUK value ram, but if you want the most ram, you can buy a gigabyte stick.
