Default laptop keeps freezing HELP!!!

my laptop keeps freezing when i leave it logged on,it goes on standby but normally when it does this you can move the mouse or press any key and the scrren comes back on but in my case it just freezes so i cant press any buttons or move the mouse to get it back why does it do this


i have to turn my laptop off by the main plug and take the battrey out and try again.but log on from the begining.


could it be the cpu not installed proprerley or is it just my laptop??




PLEASE HELP ME AS I CANT STAND IT ANY MORE IM READY THROW IT THREW THE WINDOW!!

First make sure you dont have a lot of applications and proccess's running. You can do this by pressing CTRL+ALT+DEL and close the applications you dont want running. The press the proccess's tab and end the proccess's you dont want running. If you dont know what some are google it to find out. Next you should go to start>all programs>Accessories>System Tools> then click on diskcleanup and do it to the C: drive. After this do the same thing but click on Disk Defragmenter and defreg the C: drive. If problems contiue you should post a hijack this just in case something is causing this problem.
