Everone needs a little protection, no?
I currently have the free stuff from Micosoft and what I get from my Earthlink subscription. Is there something else I should be doing to protect this thing from viruses? |

Yea, i would get NOD32. ITs a good, free antivirus. Are you behind a firewall? IF not i would also get ZoneAlarm. Its a good, free, firewall.

AVGFree and Avast! are good antivirus programs and they're free
Be vigilant! Scan all files that arrive in your computer. Also, you shouldn't run more than one antivirus at the same time (i.e. 2 antivirus programs at startup). Could create some nasty conflicts. And get anti-spyware programs like adaware. Spyware could be a greater nuisance than viruses
