If your not gaming and using this for mainly music production then there are a few areas you can save moeny in.

for starters is there any need to go as high with the processor as the E6600, at the end of the day it will probably be overkill for your needs, i'd say an E6400 would do the job perfectly well and at $100+ less.

Also I am a lover of the p180, i have it and its a fantastic case, cool and quiet but you could probably save there as well, its really handy to have such a cool case for overclocking etc but plenty of cheaper cases will do the job you need it to, possibly anohter $50 saving there.

does it need a 550w PSU? that gfx card aint gonna suck much power and for $20 you could get a 480w of the same make..

and agreed with the almightyone about the raptor, get a smaller one 36.67 or 75gb one to save some money, that way you can have OS and essential programs on that and the other drive for storage. 150gb version is overkill

just little suggestions to possibly reduce your costs, any one else have any thoughts?
