what motherboard are you using, also what exactly are the beeps (length and number)
Is it 3 long beeps as your post suggests?

its because that mother board is a piece of shit. i have the same one, and almsot every post i read about is, is some type of problem. most likely your memory controller on the motherboard is bad. when i talked to them on the phone and said my computer randomy just locked up from time to time, they were like "probably the memory controller on the mother board" which lets you know, their shit sucks just that bad. heard NO praises from this MB, only bad stuff and problems. wish i didnt get it Last edited by r0ck3r; 04-15-2006 at 10:22 PM. |

is their any pattern at all to the beeping, asus boards use the pheonix bios and the form of the beeping will give an indication as to the problem,
something along the lines of 2 beeps, a pause, 2 beeps, a pause and 1 beep. Cant think of anything for a continued beeping unless its that the memory isnt seated correctly
