Least Expensive computer needed to play cs 1.6

I just want to know what the cheapest price i can spend to play cs 1.6 on a new computer. I would build it. All i need is the tower no monitor or mouse.

umm probably like 600 dollars. it would be hard to have no lag and no choppiness on a 600 dollar computer but you could probably swing it

Wow, ave you ever played CS 1.6? I can play it on on an old PIII 866Mhz with a PCI 9200.

Id say if you want to build your own computer and already have the monitor/mouse/keyboard/OS, you can spend about $300 on a computer that will play it decently.
