Specs seem decent enough... It should handle a 7900 just fine. I have used a few gateways in the past back at my previous college and I wasn't too impressed. Most of the problems were probably from the "techs" there, but the machines seemed rather slow for their specs(P4 1.6-2.4GHz...)

flush01 - Not always, but I didn't catch that at first. Being such a new machine, it is a tad odd...

Ciero? Never heard of them... Compaq machines are pretty good, if you're asking about prebuilts. They are fairly high quality and the price is low. Dell apparently is going more propriatary, so others might be following, I don't know...but I can say my compaq is very typical and easy to upgrade should I choose to
