Default USB Problem

im having a poblem on my bro's computer... i get the stuid thing about "USB Device Not Recognized" in the bottm right.... i click the "X" to close it, but it keeps comming back, and even closes itself and comes back, the only way to stop it is to click on the damned bubble and drag the stupid thing that comes up out of the way of the screen.... how can i stop this?

oh, and btw, nothing is even pluged into it, i have tried to disable it in device manager, but it didnt help...

That is what it sounds to be. Is there cables lying somewhat close to it. I had that problem. A loose USB cable wasnt plugged in but it was really close, and it thought something was connected, but coudnt recognize it.

its the front USB of the case, nothing is in sight of it, lol.... kinda sucks though

Maybe you could take a look from the inside of the comp at the back of the USB port and see if you can find anything interesting. Better safe then sorry.
