diamond 1200 usb flatbed scanner
this scanner is about 2 years old, when i go to scan an image all id does is say Scaner not connected check wires. ive updated the drivers and its a no go
 does anybody know how to fix the problem? its a packard bell scanner btw

the cables atached to the scanner and goes to the usb on the pc, you cant take it out of the scanner
