Default Return to Monster Computer

I was here a while ago asking for what parts would be good to make a amazing computer. (i was the 80k budget guy... but i don't want to spend that much for this anymore...).

So i was running over some stuff today and i found out that the AM2 whatever you guys were telling me about wasn't a big increase. So i came here asking what i sould do, but i ran over some threads/posts about Quad-Core processors early next year... So what i am gona do is buy a computer now get a new quad-core computer when it comes out... this is what i figured out for now:

AMD Athlon 64 FX60 2.6GHz w/ 1GHz HT Socket 939 Dual Core Processor
ASUS A8N32-SLI Deluxe ATX AMD Motherboard
CORSAIR 2GB (2 x 1GB) DDR 550 (PC4400) 2 of this 2 pack... So then i will have 4gb.
eVGA Geforce 7900GTX 512MB 2 of these.
Creative Sound Blaster X-Fi Elite Sound Card

For the harddrives, tell me what SCSI Card to get:
C: Seagate Cheetah 15K.4 147GB 3.5" SCSI Ultra320 68pin 15,000RPM Hard Drive
D: Seagate Cheetah 10000RPM 10K.7 300GB 3.5" SCSI Ultra320 80pin Hard Drive
E: HITACHI Deskstar 7K500 500GB 3.5" SATA 3.0Gb/s Hard Drive

F: PLEXTOR 18X DVD±R DVD Burner included Replaceable beige front bezel Black
G: PLEXTOR 18X DVD±R DVD Burner included Replaceable beige front bezel Black

Hauppauge WinTV PVR 350 Video Recorder, TV/FM Tuner Card

COOLER MASTER Stacker Silver Computer Case With Side Panel Window

PC Power & Cooling Turbo-Cool 1KW 1000W Power Supply

Microsoft A9O-00007 Infrared WinXP Media Center Remote Control

Microsoft Windows XP Media Center Edition 2005 w/Update Rollup Release 2

Microsoft 2-Tone Wireless Keyboard

i have 2 dell 30" monitors... would i be able to get two more because i have 2 video cards? so in all would i be able to have 4 dell 30" monitors?

Also, recently i have been learning lots about overclocking... I overclocked my processor i have now and i would like to see what i can overclock in this system... (even though i know i prolly won't need to.) So these are my cooling questions:

the case holds up to 9 120MM fans, so i will take out the one it comes with, and put 9 of these in...

What is the best of:
Thermaltake CL-P0257 Blue orb II CPU Cooler for LGA775 & K8
ZALMAN CNPS7700-CU 120mm 2 Ball Cooling Fan with Copper Heatsink
ZALMAN CNPS9500 LED 92mm 2 Ball Blue LED Light Cooling Fan with Heatsink
Thermaltake Big Typhoon CL-P0114 120mm Cooling Fan with Heatsink
SILVERSTONE SST-NT06 120mm 2 Ball CPU Cooling Fan/Heatsink

also is this good stuff?

and would it hurt to get this and would it hurt to get this?
i know i don't need all that cooling, but i really want to see how well i can overclock my hardware... i don't know alot about overclocking now, but i am trying to learn lots about it... and if i want to go to crazy extremes would this stuff come in handy?

ok I'll see what I can answer..
yes you can set up 4 different monitors with the two video cards, it is more complicated than a dual monitor setup as far as setting it up I think (can't say I've done it before).
I like zalman cpu coolers, I have the 7700 in one computer and it does a good job, from what I hear the 9500 may be a little better though.
Arctic silver is really good thermal paste, you should be fine with it.
It looks to me like you won't have enough open slots though for the comonents you chose, the video cards take up two slots each, blocking two pci slots, leaving ou with only one pci and one pci-e for your sound card and tv tuner, which won't both fit, I think you should look into finding a pci-e tv tuner or see if there's any 7900gtx's that only take up one slot. That being said, you definitely don't have space for the slot cooler, and I don't really think you need it anyways.
And your memory already has a heatsink on it, so the memory coolers are pointless
hope this helps out a little

ok, so screw the fan for the PCI slot and the heatsink for the ram...

what about a SCSI controller?

so i can't have the:
Video Card
Video Card
Sound Card
Tuner
SCSI Controller

how many of these do i have to take out?

you may have to go with two 7900gt's instead for spacial reasons, the sound card and tuner card would then both fit, and you would have one more pci and one more pci-e slot for a scsi controller, whichever it takes

As for cooling, i'd probably go with the Typhoon. If you want superb cooling, however, why not look at water cooling or better.

Why not replace the stock cooler on the GTXs?
