Need help w/ Issues on tech

I need some issues of personal, local, or national concern as it relates to technology.
I have to do an essay and thats the topic. I really have no idea on what to do. Do any of you have any ideas? or better yet any threads that discuss such a thing? thanks in advance

I use the orange box on the left of the adress bar(firefox) and use the XML feed and look at the last 10 and see which ones interest me.
