I know a common problem with OCZ is that it operates at a higher voltage than other RAM and your MOBO most likely has default setting to a lower voltage if it is not supported. If you can enter BIOS and manipulate this, I would try.
Of course you will want to check to see if this is the case. I would check online to see what the operating voltage is for your memory and than see if your MOBO even supports it. You will more than likely be unable to use/see anything if this is the case. At least from my understanding of similar incidents.
