When i x out of speedfan i want the speeds to go back to what they were before i installed speedfan. is this possible? if i uninstall speedfan will my speeds go back to normal? also is 55C a normal CPU temp for a P4 HT 3.2GHz? thanks

My friend had a problem similar to this and after uninstalling it his fan speeds went back to normal. 55°C is above normal for that P4. Normal temps would be around the mid to low 40s and if you have some good cooling it should be around the mid to high 30s.

When I run v4.27, I can set events to occur, like beeps when overheating, or a fan stops spinning; I can also adjust the temperatures to compensate for inaccurate sensors, but I cannot adjust fan speeds!. But when I run v4.18, I can adjust fan speeds... but I can't adjust temperatures for offset!
Now if only they were able to get everything right in one version!

Try downloading the newest version. I just restarted my computer and it works fine now. I will never ever open speedfan again. It was running the fan at 4900RPMS and i am guessing the maximum is way less than that. Thanks guys
