Default No sound although my computer says everthing is fine.

I have a brand new Toshiba Satellite laptop that doesn't have any weird viruses and has never had to be re-installed, nothing like that. Well about a week ago my speakers just suddenly stopped working. The volume is up nothing is muted. I have checked all the audio componants and I see no yellow yield sign beside them. I don't think I could have blown them, I haven't turned it up any louder than the bar will let me go. Does anyone know what could be the problem?

Crap, nevermind. I'm so dumb I didn't realize that there was a dial on the out side of the laptop that controlled the volume, Duh! Gosh. Whom ever is the forum manager delete this post.
