Default Not a valid win32 application

I'm having problems get my computer to read cd n dvd, some work some dont, the 1's that dont work come up with not a valid win32 application, there not copy's so i dont no why im having this problem, anyone got any ideas what the problem is?

Burned cd/dvds dont work with all cd/dvd drives. Solution: getting a new cd/dvd drive

There not copy's there proper cd's

Are they older cds? Windows sometimes has trouble opening programs on older cds. If they are, and dos based, then you could try downloading dosbox and running them.
