The first one would be a bit better, due to an 8ms response time, and 5 dollars cheaper.

I can't get to the rest of your build because the links are broken.
but shipping would cost and i got walmart near me that sells that for that price - as for the links they are down a few posts

aight
GPU: 32MB nVIDIA M64 Pro Graphics Card (take load off of cpu a little)
he will be using it for more of a multi-tasking, no gaming (if he wants to can get a gpu later), and probably $500, $600
*what do u think of the setup i got on page 1?

its alright... but only if it is definate he isn't doing gameing...

hey and is that AGP or PCI?
and are you sure he doesn't want a PCIe slot?
and if he is going to get a good GPU later or mebbe upgrade later, he should get a more upgradable motherboard...

and more detail on your budget...

i don't think the ram difference would do much... i think the first ram you picked out might be a bit better, but not by much...

and what i mean a by a more upgradable motherboard is that mebbe if his computer parts starts getting old, he can always upgrade (i.e. a mobo that supports PCIe, 4gb ram etc...)
