Default Ipod video

I'm thinking about an Ipod video, but i have a few questions, do you need to buy the music off itunes to make music play on the ipod or does it take differant formats, also can you put films on there, is there a way to rip them onto the ipod.

Not sure, but when you have music in your collection you simply need to load it via Itunes so i wouldnt worrie too much, also there a many converters out there for different media formats so you shouldnt have problems, if you ask me Itunes sucks, most MP3 players let you load music via My computer and drg and drop. have a look at Creative media players for good sound and value for money

the ipod video can play movies, there are programs to do it, ive heard of them but never tried becuase i only have the normal 20gb ipod. as for the mp3's you just need itunes and itll do it all for you from the cd or ripped collection (thats if its the same as the normal itunes, but i dont see why it would be different for that particular ipod)

edit: only took one search on google Rip DVD movies to ipod

Well You don't really have to spend musics on Itunes, but you can download music for free. PM me about it. Cause we can not talk about these here. Its against the rules.
