Hi
I am new to the world of wireless. I just got a new laptop & promptly was able to connect to a wireless signal. Today, I am not able to connect. The signal is not security protected. What did change is that a neighbor got a Linksys amplifier to enhance the same signal. My wireless card is trying to re-establish my IP. What gives & how do I correct the change back to where I can connect to wireless? Thanks |

Possibly the person who was hosting the signal realized that you were mooching off his internet and turned off the router. Using someone elses Wireless internet without there consent let alone them knowing is not only illegal, but just consciencely wrong. stop.
