Yesterday, by accident, I pressed the hibernate button on my desktop PC. I though it was no big deal, I'd just wait for it to shut down then I'd start it back up. Unfortunately the thing now will not power up.
I've pushed the power button, hibernate button, unpluged the fing and even opened it up and unplugged the motherboard and hard drive the from power supply, but still nothing. I never noticed this before, but the power supply has a little green light on the back side that blinks and clicks a few times a second (even when unplugger) would this have anythign to do with the problem? Anyone have any ideas on what it can be? Last edited by nickmgray; 04-23-2006 at 02:27 PM. |

Maybe there is something wrong with the PSU, and thats what that green light is saying.
If you have another computer, try switching the PSU and seeing which one works.

Sounds like a power supply problem, escpecially if the light on it blinks... Those, I beleive, are suppose to be solid either when the power's on, or when it's plugged in.
