Default How do you extract music from online radio?

I'm trying to get this one song that I cant find anywhere expect on Winamp radio and I was wondering which program I can use to extract that song. If anyone can tell me step by step on how to use that program also I will be very grateful. Thanks.

Nero Recording Console, or Messer, or Creative Recorder, or even MusicMatch will snag any sound that your PC makes in a .wav format. All you need to do is set your PC's Recording Properties to "Wave Out" or "Stereo Mix", and shut off your System Sounds. Start your recording program, choose the proper input(Stereo Mix, or similar), start playback with Winamp. When the song is over, shut off Winamp, then your recording program. Save the file as a .wav in order to edit out the rubbish at the beginning and end. Do that editing, and save it as a .wav, or .mp3, or .ogg or whatever format you like and voila! One saved song from a Winamp stream

If I use Creative Recorder or any program in general to record from Winamp, the song is most likely going to have low quality sound right?

To download streamed music use Streambox http://p082.ezboard.com/fstreemeboxv...picID=27.topic or to record from music played on your PC use Audacity http://audacity.sourceforge.net/

Nope. Whenever I did this, the sound was fine. When I took the .wav and burned it to a CD, it sounded just as good as the original file/stream, even when played on my big Yamaha/Marantz/KEF vintage system. Keep in mind the quality of the original! If you're recording a 96kbps stream, the result will sound like one, not like an uncompressed CD! You're limited by the quality of what you're recording.
