Msi Mobo Could It Be The Mobo Or Maybe The Power Switch?

Right when I'm getting ready to build my new system, my old system is acting really weird? About a month ago I woke up in the morning to find my system in a "Idle State", and either my powesupply was making a ticking sound or was it my harddrive...not really sure?
Tonight I moved my computer to a differn't location in my office, and after I booted my system up, it Shut down and started making a "Beeping sound? Then I played around with the Powerswitch, and here I am writing this post.....anyone have any suggestions?

Could possibly be the power supply.. I say this because often a dieing power supply will make what seems to be a ticking sound or what sounds more like a on and off buzzing sound of electricity pulsating.. hmmm that description really sucked didn't it? LOL.

Often when it does that you can put your hand on the side of the PSU and you'll actualy feel it pulsate.
