I am going to either get a X800 Pro 256 mb or a 9800 XT 256mb. I'm wondering if the 9800 XT is still better than th X800 Pro . (There is only a $20 difference from where I'm getting it.)

you better research more then ;-).. X800 Pro is much better by a far margin.. the 9800XT is just waaaaaaaaaaay overpriced.
also the 6800GT is better still and most often cheaper then the x800Pro.. Honestly I dont have a clue as to why they are charging what they are for the 9800's but it's mind boggling! LOL.
